What Services are Offered at Glass Studios?

Glass Studios offers music recording, mixing, and mastering. There are also three tiers of memberships with different amenities and benefits such as free mixing,production, or song/rollout planning.

How Much does it Cost for Hourly Recording Without a Membership?

Hourly recording at Glass Studios is $50/hr. Mixing is an additional $75/hr as well as mastering being an additional $75/hr.

Is a Deposit for Booking Required?

There is no deposit required, however, full payment is required during time of booking. In the case of the session being cancelled at fault of Glass Studios, a full refund will be given.

What are the Memberships and their Prices?

With the Bronze membership priced at $50 a month, the hourly cost of recording is $35/hr and mastering is $35/hr. Mixing is free with all memberships. With the Silver membership priced at $75 a month, the hourly cost of recording is $25/hr and mastering is $25/hr. Mixing is free with all memberships. With the Gold membership priced at $100 a month, the hourly cost of recording is $10/hr and mastering is $10/hr. Mixing is free with all memberships.

How far in advance must I book?

You must book at least 24 hours in advance.

Is there a minimum booking time?

Although other studios require 2 hour minimum booking, Glass Studios doesn’t require any minimum hours of booking.

What’s the policy with late membership payments?

Glass Studios has a 3-7-10 policy. On day 3 of being late, there will be a friendly payment reminder sent. On day 7 of being late, there will be a $25 late fee. On day 10 of being late, there will be a discussion on lowering membership tier. If payment is not received in full by day 14, the membership will be cancelled.

What is the Rescheduling Policy after Booking?

You must reschedule your session at least 24 hours prior to the session. You may reschedule twice before the session is cancelled and it will result in forfeiture of 50% of the received payment.

How many people am I allowed to bring to my session?

The maximum number of people, (including the engineer) allowed at one time in the studio is 5 people. Each guest of the artist in which they are accompanying must pay an hourly rate $5 per hour added on to the hourly cost of the artist.

What are the Usage Rules for Glass Studios?

Clients and guests must act professionally and respectfully while on studio premises. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in termination of the session without refund and risks loss of membership and inability to book in the future. No weapons are allowed. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas.

Who are the Resident Engineers?

The resident engineers are King Krow and KYZ Keyz. King Krow studies audio engineering, music production, and recording at The Texas Recording Conservatory of Austin and owned and operated studios for 5+ years. KYZ Keyz is an engineer with over 5+ years of experience with a specialty in music production.

What DAWs and Equipment are used at Glass Studios?

Glass Studios offers high quality equipment as well as having Pro-Tools, Reason, & Ableton to suit varying kinds of recording and tools. There is also an isolation booth for quality sound recording.
